My Story

How it all Started

Ever since high school with my majors in French and geography and later my interdisciplinary master’s degree with majors in economics, political sciences, Spanish, and history, I’ve been dedicated to a systemic perspective, communication in its various forms, and being a bridge between disconnected worlds.

Over the years this took me from marketing to cross-cultural work and then to learning a new language of energetic frequencies; from the purely physical to the subtle body; and finally bringing it all together and translating it into every day interactions.

Why business? Because I love the practical. And because it’s one major way in which we are in relationship with our community and can make our impact in the world. It’s an avenue for us to share our gifts and influence the collective. It’s also a route for many of us to fulfill and manifest our purpose.

We are currently in a time of big changes and shifts in all aspects of our lives and we can easily feel disempowered by it all. But if we look at it from a place of opportunity, we can use this time as a training ground to truly empower ourselves by owning our individual uniqueness and contributing our gifts and talents to create a world guided by love.

My contribution to making that dream come true is to support others in accessing their intuition and experiencing themselves in an expansive state of being, their soul consciousness, and connecting with what’s available on the other side of certainty, before translating those insights into day-to-day reality.

Everyone has a distinct signature when 2 things come together: our perceptions based on past experiences that shape our personality and what’s emerging within us in the present moment beyond any presumed limitations: the power of our soul.

In my work, I create a space for you to connect with the anatomy of your soul to experience your distinct uniqueness and then support you in strengthening your strengths and softening your limitations. I help you reconnect to possibilities and your vision, and to create actions for yourself so you live into the expression of your highest self, whether that is in your own business, your job, your personal life, or somewhere on the journey from one to the other, because hiding our uniqueness in order to fit in is no longer a road to success.

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there’s a field. I’ll meet you there.”

Business and Marketing

My Evolving Perspective

I spent the first part of my professional life in various marketing roles in various industries, including high-tech, an industry that is known for being at the forefront of innovation and constant change, the continuous adaptation of new marketing strategies and techniques and frequent organizational changes.

When I started out on my own, I therefore figured that I was well prepared for the life of the solopreneur and that the last thing I would have to worry about was marketing, since I knew it in my sleep… color me surprised when I found out that embracing the entrepreneurial spirit took real effort and marketing someone else’s product is very different from essentially BEING the product! It was a rude awakening, that made me end up struggling for several years to understand what was really required of me.

And it wasn’t just me – my marketing consulting clients had similar challenges. No matter how much time, effort, and money they would spend on learning and applying marketing strategies and techniques, the success would often fall far short from expectations.

Any chance I got I would interview successful entrepreneurs – how did they do it? I kept asking the question, but the answers never seemed satisfying: “give talks”, “it’s all about video”, “you have to blog”, “you need a large email list” – all the standard techniques that countless entrepreneurs try and fail with and yet there were a select few for whom it worked.

In 2012, during my somatic coaching training, I realized that I was asking the wrong question: it wasn’t about what successful entrepreneurs did, but who they were, how they showed up for their business.

They have an inner alignment, an aliveness, underlying every marketing action they take that is the critical piece to success, because it creates resonance with their audience.

They are deeply connected to (whether consciously or unconsciously) and convinced of what they offer – that’s how it becomes magnetizing.

As I continued to explore authenticity as a core component to business success, I also recognized that, as in anything else in life, there truly is no “one size fits all” approach to building a business. Our work is to get to know ourselves at a deep level, to embody our highest energetic frequency, and to then allow our inner knowing to guide us to our most aligned approach in business and marketing.

These insights and an intense (and still ongoing) process of “unlearning” have radically shifted my relationship to business in the last few years, from the traditional way of starting with the strategy and have everything derive from there to the intuitive, authentic way of starting from within, my core essence, and have everything guided from there, including the business and marketing strategies.

Where I Come From

My Background

I hold a degree in business management and a MA in interdisciplinary studies (economics, political sciences, Spanish, and history), and have extensively studied the fields of personal and professional development for the past three decades that include varied body- and brain-based approaches, intuitive and energy healing, somatic bodywork, as well as studies of spiritual traditions and consciousness practices.

For more than 20 years I worked in various marketing roles, both in entrepreneurial and corporate settings, involving marketing communications, building corporate partnerships as well as developing national and international market presence.

My strong background in start-up and small business marketing gives me firsthand experience of the unique challenges my clients are encountering in having to wear multiple “hats”, operating with small budgets and having to build brand awareness in a very noisy environment.

Over the last few years, I also developed a better understanding of the unique challenges that empaths, intuitives, sensitives, and introverts face when they want to build a business in a world that is geared towards extroverted marketing and sales practices.

I grew up in Germany and lived in France and Spain before coming to the United States, which has allowed me to become well-versed and appreciative of cultural differences while focusing on the perennial wisdom shared by all humanity not bound by any borders.
